Zappa was a genius. I can't claim ever being a huge fan but I had a few 8-tracks and LP's back in high school. When I purged music formats I did not replace them. I suppose that's where he stands, in the past.

I enjoy a party as much as the next person. I'm no stick-in-the-mud but I find themed parties to be forced. It's like the people having them can't hold our interest on their own merit so they need a gimmick.

Or maybe they're fun and I just don't get it.
