Brigit's Flame has really helped me get past the writer's black. I still find I need the prompts, though, to make me write. But I feel good about what I've managed to create for the most part. Please sign up for February - you've got until Monday. If you're not sure what to do, let me know.
I struggle with feelings of inferiority about my writing. I know I write well, but then I read other people's things and then. . . I alwo want it to be "perfect," which holds me back. I understand about the poetry thing. I wrote a lot of it when I was young, but prose fits me better now and I can use creative imagery in that. I tried to do NaNoMo in November, but failed miserably. Too MUCH pressure.
I'm going to start getting ready for tonight. I'm just planning on enjoying myself for whatever the evening brings.
