I'm friends with knitwear designer,
Noriko Ho. Last spring/summer, she asked for test knitters for her MKAL (mystery knit-a-long) shawl. It took me way too long to knit to be helpful as a test knit for her, but it's finally done! I used US 4 needles, and the yarns I used were Anzula Nebula in Opal (grey with silver sparks!), Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino in P439 (bright purples), and Yarnarchy Liberty (muted purples and grey). I love the alternating mix of patterns and colors. The result is subtly and pleasingly complex but so big I had to block half of it at a time.
