I can't imagine not having the SF Chronicle to read. I'm wondering how this dire announcement will play out. I love technology and getting everything instantly but I like the feel and depth of reading the paper on the weekends.
I have not read a daily newspaper on a daily basis in more than five years. I have completely embraced taking my news online, when I want it, from whom I want it, and I've never regretted it.
I have mixed feelings about the demise of the daily rags. I think they're a relic of the past and have become to fat and happy with their political / social influence. I do believe many news organizations are baised and present news in a near propagandistic (is that even a word? I'm going with it.) fashion.
I do miss the Sundays in my hammock back east, lying in the shade with my coffee, reading the Providence Journal.
Mixed feelings
