I've just come back to this thread because it popped into my head that you might be interested in www.etsy.com - it's where I have sold a few items (sea glass, sea pottery, and shells), and it's got a sort of friendly, homey feel to it. Lots of creative people there, items of every kind, and listing/transaction fees that aren't bad at all.
