(no subject)

My current temp job is about to end, I'm ending it a little early. Another agency offered me a short-term temp job at one of the huge CA hospitals, data entry at a wage that will end up being lower than unemployment, after taxes, but I'm taking it to get my foot in, the hospital has locations everywhere and need temps all the time. Once you get through all their screenings, they tend to use the same people, so it will hopefully lead to more and better paying jobs. So another few weeks of working hard and having not enough to show for it. I'm going on blind faith, I have to take the risk. It's a definite forty hours. I can walk though and that will save me on gas, I've been driving a lot to this other one.

I'm ready to switch jobs too. I'm glad I get to. As long as there's another one lined up, it's cool. Making a living wage would be nice too.

I'm taking a break from NaNo tonight. I have almost 35K words. I like morning writing the best, but if I'm working I only have an hour at most.  I really can't wait to be done with it, 12 more days. 15K more words, aaaarrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!  Maybe I'll write a lot in Florida. I will finish though even if it means writing nonstop the 29th and 30th. I actually have a plan to churn out a lot this weekend. I do have some ideas there I'd like to explore further, when this is done, I know that which is kind of exciting.  And writing every morning for a little bit before work is amazing, I love it.

I've been keeping myself so busy. Writing like crazy, but for nothing more than my own growth and learning, working but not making enough money to pay the bills, yoga and now belly dancing, I really like practicing the drills. I'm a little in overdrive but I'll accept that over inertia at this point.

This morning I was feeling extremely low, before I went to work I watched the following video, some of you may like it. I love it. At lunch, when I walked at work, I laid my hand on the wide trunk of a palm tree, it looked like elephant skin; I closed my eyes and asked for guidance. Yup, that's the kind of thing I love to do. It did give me strength.
