openscarfGorgeous October weather. I'm spending as much time as I can outdoors while I can. So beneficial for my head and all the walking is great too. I bought a new backpack and am going on a little hike tomorrow.
A friend asked me about my Dapper Gentleman, I have no new installments, I've only had one brief encounter since I first wrote about him. It was in Whole Foods. The timing and location were not right. I felt like an aggressive stalker when I envisioned me getting his attention. He moves very quickly, inspite of his gait. I had high hopes for today at the Farmer's Market, but alas, it was not meant to be. I did buy lovely tomatos, squash, Thai peppers, and a small eggplant. For which I will need to look up a recipe. It was just so adorable I had to have it.
There was a party in the building next door, theme being Beatles Rock Band. You could hear windows slamming shut, but it didn't help. No triple pane windows here. They were shouting/singing and then applauding and whoo hooing as if...It was excruciating trying to drown them out.
I watched The Naked Civil Servant, a movie about Quentin Crisp and Frank Zappa, Apostrophe & Overnight Sensation. I could have been a Frank Zappa fan in real time, if anyone around me--older brother & sister, family friends, etc. had listened to him. I can imagine being influenced by him and his music, ethic, intellect, counter everything and possibly taking different paths. I guess he really was a cult favorite. I am now a big fan.
