I'm not participating in NaNoWriMo, but it's interesting to hear that you are and that what you are writing is basically about you. Having finished and submitted my novel, I'm now working on a memoir. Am at data-gathering stage (working out what happened when in my life), but have lots of ideas already for how to write about the events. I am not, however, yet sure of the "point of entry" for it--i.e. where to start it. *puts on thinking cap*

p.s. I always learn something from my writing, whether it be fiction, nonfic, fanfic, LJ entries, diary, etc.
