The demonstrators in Egypt took a good turn by organizing and negotiating with the regime. They have Mubarak on his way out and important concessions for the period between now and then, free press is the most important. If there's one thing Mubarak's thugs have done to piss me off it's the beating of journalists, confiscating equipment, and shutting down the internet. THAT is the clearest eveidence of who is the bad guy in this drama.
