I’ve worked two days at the temp job. It’s a small regional office and plant for a lighting company. They outsource their accounts payable to Mexico (awesome!) and their corporate office somewhere in the southeast does the rest. This little office has not been awarded the SAP software, so they match the invoices, receipts and purchase orders manually and then on some obsolete software that I haven't learned yet.  I haven’t had to get on the computer at all and I LOVE IT! If I didn’t have an iphone, I would not love it. I can keep up with my email, listen to my ipod, check facebook, etc.

I will say that they’re not hostile toxic people. Are they perfect? Of course not. But not poisonous.

I don’t have nicknames for anyone yet, because it’s just so low key.  I interact with the woman who is training me and the controller whom I like a lot. He’s funny, handsome and dresses well. That's accounting. It's great.

I have a nice space, not a cubicle, big window, it’s very comfy. I’m blessed again that I’m working close to the bay although in a different town and I walked for half an hour today along the water, just up from a marina.  It’s been clear and hot; I could see Oakland and San Francisco skylines, a very cool view.

I don’t hate it there, but I feel stifled as I stare, tick, match and stack paper all day. I can’t help but worry if my creative life will dry up. But I think the worry is good, I’m not just melting into it.  I’m making a big effort to stay in tune with what I want and who I am. I’m so determined to not lose myself ever again.

I’m trying to keep my mornings special, just with time limits; meditation, a little yoga then get ready. It’s worth getting up earlier for that.

I have NO idea what is going on with my copy/editing thing. I suspect they’re so over budget that they’re pushing through everything they can—not my boss’ fault, she was brought in to clean it up and take charge.  I know she’s doing at least 80% of the work.

I’m completely procrastinating on writing my 2 pieces for the newsite. I imagine I’ll just whip them out on Saturday.

 Flow, flowing,  flowy
