So, they took to the streets in France today, I believe the count of one million.  One million people protesting stagnant corrupt government, economies and social policies.  Especially during the last year of Bush, I wondered what it would take to get us out to protest, if we would storm the capitol, not stop until we were heard.  Their skins are so thick.  I marched when the war started.  3 amazing marches in San Francisco, but stopped when the anarchists became too prominent.  And that bastard never acknowledged us anyway.  But it was pretty glorious, indescribable really.  And now, what the hell?  How are people living?  I'm scrimping every penny.  Planning ahead as much as possible.  I read that Obama spoke out against the billions in bonuses the Wallstreeters got this year.  We're just beyond any kind of rationality in my opinion.  I don't know what it will take to get us out to the street.  I know now, most want to let Obama prevail and reign it in, can he?  The stimulus?  Rain checks for tax refunds?  Forced furloughs?  Sales tax may be almost 10% soon.  Yikes.  Get out the yoga mats people, I am.

This is hilarious, please watch it:

Interesting and funny video, but in a sad kind of way. I'm guessing you live in California? I don't watch TV, so I tend to miss a lot of news. I hadn't heard about this, or about the demonstrations in France.
I haven't protested since the Vietnam war in my college days in the 70's. And I guess I am pinning a lot of hope on Obama's ability to pull us out of this crisis. Until then, like you, I'm scrimping along paycheck to paycheck.
