The delicious, rich and uber caloric holiday, usually not found here, foods are just about gone. With determination, fortitude and humor, I systematically feasted (gorged) on the leftovers for a solid week. I would like to spend tomorrow pressure free, with nothing decadent left singing the siren's song. Farewell to cream cheese, brie and leftover lasagne (including what I froze). Au revoir to raisin toast, pumpkin oatmeal cookies and spice cake. My dear and cherished coworkers were treated to my homemade chocolate cherry breakfast rolls, (which were honestly super fun to make) they vanished from the breakroom like fog on a hot sunny day. My good friend took the 2 pounds of shredded mozzerella that was never used for pizzas because we had so much food. The Reese's icecream didn't last beyond New Year's Day evening. Ciao bellas, I loved you well and am thrilled that you are now gone, I'm not sure how much longer I could have lasted.
