Ramblings from a very very hot apartment

I'm anticipating that first caress of cool air, that should be here in a few hours. Fresh, oceanic, metallic, cold, tangible; pushing through the window screens, calming the feverish walls of this building, clearing the thick hotness, making breathing joyful, waking the brain, encouraging the mind........

I don't get Twitter either. It feels fake, contrived, people trying to hard. I think it's b perfect for celebrities, to gather more fans, fanatics, etc. It's so ME ME ME. How can they supposedly run from the photogs, yet tweet their lives?

I opened an account, but don't plan to post. My friend posts interesting things every now and then, but I don't know why. I find going there unnecessary. I signed up to follow one proessional guy, Chris Guillebeau, but I get emails from him too and I'm being followed now by several of bloggers he's helping out, in the hopes I follow them I guess. It's just easier to go to their websites and read their blogs. I'm curious to see where it will lead. I think it will go very commercial.

I didn't go to yoga today, since last night was a tough sleep cause of the heat. I want to go tomorrow, but the teacher is very unpredictable. He keeps the room too cold, his timing is crazy, very hurry up and now let's hold this twice as long as usual.

I think people like people like Susan Boyle cause she's talented, broke the mold, surprised us, and it makes us feel good to like her. I'm tired of hearing people say, could you believe they snickered at her? Laughed at her? Yes, Yes, Yes. It's TV. Those shows plant lots of people there with no talent, just to make us laugh at them. Look at those fools. That's the TV way. The train wrecks and the angelically talented. That's why they're popular.

Meanwhile, I'm so looking forward to the NY Housewives tonight. It better be on.
