Sunday --Bruce!

Superbowl game was pretty exciting.  When the Cardinals scored in the last 6 minutes I was relieved and leaning towards them, who knew those Steelers would be unstoppable?  That game entertained and impressed.  Rough too.   Bruce, oh my goodness, rocked.  I loved seeing my old home town go wild for Bruce, that energy was pouring out of the little tv. And I  loved the banter between Bruce and Steve at the end, how gorgeous Patty and the other bass player (?) was and Bruce loving life, giving it back.  Killer.  Oh, and the Doritos commercial was funny!

We went wine tasting at Retzlaff Winery first, I love that perfect perfect little winery so much.  Andrea gave me 3 bottles of Cab from her purchase which was generous beyond belief, so yummy.  The futures tasting for the whites was incredible.  The Sauvignon Blanc from the barrel was so grassy and fresh...delic.

Home now.  Feels more like a Saturday, wish it wasn't Monday morning tomorrow.  Oh well, it will fly by.

"The Visitor" was a great movie, not one thing wrong with it, wanted it to go on forever.  And my tabouli--very very tasty.

So it sounds like a really good weekend, afterall! I have divided feelings about the "Gala." The dinner was delicious; but as I am never a big hit at dances for some reason (unknown to me) I got tired of tending the wallflower patch and left about an hour early. Two guys did ask me to dance - several times each, in fact - but they were, well . . .

So I take it the men were disappointing? Honestly, who wants to be in that position at this age, waiting for someone to ask you to dance, and the guys getting their nerve up to ask someone, or the women asking too I guess. Very brave 3S!
