Wondering why LJ posts so much and so often? They are always blathering about gifts and  changes and I don't know what. Why are they so present?

Two days into my 40 hour a week job. It's pretty tedious but better than not working. I miss my time. I do like the walk though. Built in exercise and green to boot.

I'm considering drastic measures to certain bills. There is only so much money which funnily enough sounds like a lot of money, I should be truthful and say, there is little money, choices must be made.

Trying to stay positive and take each minute as it comes.

I just baked sweet potatoes, granny smith apple, cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, a little butter, a drizzle of honey, so yummy. I meant to save half for lunch tomorrow but I had not will power and ate the whole thing.

Blerg.

I've been off LJ for the past week--long Thanksgiving weekend away--so I am a bit out of touch. Do you have a new job? If so, congratulations!

When I was unemployed, I made good use of my time (as it sounds like you did), so that when I began working 40 hours a week I would have few regrets. I'm six months in, and though there are some days when I'd prefer to lay around and relax, I don't miss my time off.

I don't pay much attention to the many LJ emails, anymore. Most of the stuff they talk about doesn't interest me: virtual gifts and the like.

Thanks! I have a temp job for the next few weeks or month, but it's very low paying. It's at the big hospital so I'm hoping I can stay in the "pool." I do miss my time, I did so much, it was great. I keep experimenting with getting up earlier and earlier, LOL.

Do you still work at home?
