When I woke up it was raining, but it stopped and every now and then the sun briefly burst out then was hidden again behind a milky sky. I was tempted to stay in my jammies all day and watch movies, but as usual I overcame that urge. The motivation to get my ass in gear was that tomorrow morning, teeth #''s 14 and 16 are finally coming out, 14 being the injured one, 16 is a wisdom tooth that is apparently, loose.
So I did a quick load of laundry, ran the vacumn around, committed to going to yoga, and ran out to Whole Foods for extra food, for my down time. I thought it would be a great time to try some butternut squash soups. It wasn't raining as I headed out on this charming path of leaves but of course, 2 minutes in, it began raining. I walked fast. And guess who I saw?

The Dapper Gentleman! He had on a trench coat and hat, he was coming back from Whole Foods with one bag. He nimbly went up the steps of his apartment building, (which is NOT the senior living place I had imagined him living in) holding the paper bag handles in one hand and his coat closed against his throat with the other. I watched him go in, in case I could assist, oh wouldn't it have been great to have been invited in for a cup of tea! He was safely inside, I, hatless was getting wet and walked quickly, head down, chatting with a young guy in a hoodie.

2 mangos, 2 butternut squashes, a knot of ginger, 2 potatos, frozen fruit, ice cream (rice dream), soy milk, done. I repacked my two bags and walked home in scattered sunlight. My hair had a nice wave in it after all that, something I can never produce with product, diffuser, curling iron, etc.

An hour later I drove to the yoga studio and was delighted at how the sky looked. These pictures don't do it justice; it was about 3:45, dense huge blue black clouds were filling the sky, however the sun was still high enough to illuminate them. The orange leaved trees looked like they were on fire.

Pretty groovy.
